WiFi share (Wifi-to-Wifi Tether) by Galaxy S Series or Note Series
This fantastic function begins from Galaxy S7.
- Galaxy Note 10+ with Android 12.
- Galaxy Note 9 with Android 10 or 9.
- Galaxy Note 8 with Android 9
- Galaxy S8 with Android9.
It is very deep in the Settings as if it should not be found.
- Settings -> Connections -> Tethering -> WiFi Tethering.
- You will be asked to insert a SIM. This indicates that it is for mobile-to-Wifi Tethering.
- Once you insert a SIM, you will be asked to turn off wifi to turn on wifi tethering. This also indicates that it is for mobile network tether through wifi.
- Once you agree, settings for wifi-tether will open.
You can set up a wifi-hotspot. You can configure a fixed hotspot,
which means the SSI and its password is fixed.
(this is not easy even if it is a rooted device due to a restriction from the Android.
- There is a setup button under it and you push it. There is a detail button at the bottom.
- At the very bottom, there is a column for Wifi-Share, which is turned off in the default.
