Statistics: Pass Rate of 1st year to 2nd year

Summary: Pass Rate of 1st year to 2nd year is approximately 30-50%. The statistics is not disclosed officially. I calculated it by myself, because it is not disclosed but I thought it is informative.

The statistics is not disclosed officially. But I think it is informative. Thus I calculated it by myself. I can only find small number of people in a meaningful group. If I can access the whole 1st year students the number is more accurate, but obviously I can not access such data. Still I feel the numbers below represent reality well.

Passing Rates of 1st year to 2nd year: (from 1st semester to 3rd semester via 2nd semester)

Passing Rates of 3rd semester to 4th semester:

In my opinion this pass rate is too low. I can not believe why it is left intact. The school authority should take some measures against it. And most wrong I think is, they never disclose these statistics; I think many people may start to think something could be wrong in the school system by seeing this statistical number. (to be honest I have felt sometimes some teachers are intentional to downgrade and even fail us: an Example in Anatomy and Histology.

"Pass" means that you pass all pre-requisite subjects: Anatomy, Histology, Biology, Chemistry, Biophysics. If you fail any one of them you need to repeat a year because you can not take some subjects next year. For example, if you fail biophysics, you can not take physiology next year, and so on.
