SWY18 News
Some SWY18 participants are active with various things and move around
the world after the program and they report about their work to our
Mailing List. It is nice to hear about their outstanding liveliness,
because they are good stimulus for the rest of us.
- Jun/2006:Official Reporting Session in Japan is successfully
completed! 102 out of 118 JPYs gathered and Patrik, Ariz and Humaid
joined us.
- Jun/2006:Jun visited Lucas to see a game of World Cup in Germany.
- Jun/2006:Wictor visited Brazil to celebrate Barbara's birthday!
- May/2006:Lucas from Brazil is staying in Germany for a couple of months.
- May/2006:Eric and his girlfriend visit Morocco and go around
the country with Hicham.
- May/2006:Fierce Riot in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Nobody from
Brazilian Delegation hurt.
- May/2006:I got a private e-mail from slender Leo from Brazil. He is
working hard to come to Japan and study Computer Science here in Japan.
- May/2006:A big earthquake with Tsunami Alert hit Tonga. The Alert
was cancelled and the news everybody of Tongan Delegation is OK
relieved us.
- May/2006:Mylene was in New York. She had a dinner with Andra and Fred from the UN Headquatrs.
- May/2006:News from Mylene of Canada. She will join "Free Children"
Program at the Peace and Leadership Center in Kenya.
- May/2006:News from Cara of Canada. She got an academic admittance
from Cambridge University in UK.
- Apr/2006:News from Christine of Canada. She was accepted by Harvard University with full scholarship. She would move to Boston in 2 months.
- Apr/2006:Leif from Sweden came to Japan as an exchange student at
Sophia University. He would stay there for one semester.
- Mar/2006:Patrik from Sweden visited Japan.
- Mar/02/2006:Back to Tokyo and left Japan back home.
- Jan/19/2006:Left Japan for our SWY18 Program!
