This site is getting bigger. Here is First of all,

1. Purpose:
This page is presented to serve information and a way of opinions about Hungarian Medical Schools and daily-life in Hungary, especially University of Pecs and Semmelweis University(Budapest). Why these two Hungarian Universities? see Authors below.

I am trying to give a balanced opinion, since there are mainly two types of opinion on the internet regarding to Hungarian Medical Schools.
1. Agents: They say everything is good here, which is, of course, not true. Agents are earning money, thus they can not help but do so, because they are doing business! That is how they got unbalanced.
2. Students with failure: Every medical school is difficult in terms of getting admitted or getting through after admission. Here due to relatively easy admission, students feel difficulty to pass exams. To be honest, many students fail. They speak loud and speak ill of school from their bad experiences. That is how they got unbalanced.
3. In my case, I am not an agent, thus no financial interests involve here. Also I am a quite successful student so far. I am a 5th year students with, say, good marks. I can be in more balanced position in this term.

Future/Possible Applicants and Those who would like to know Medical Education in Hungary, Especially foreigners(non-Hungarian).

3. Why did I make this?
Before I came here in Hungary, I had been looking for information about Medical School and Medical School life in Hungary. I found that such information is limited in amount and not balanced. I thought there should be more in quantity and the information should be balanced. That is how I began this. I hope it would be helpful for you.

I am a 3rd year student in Semmelweis University. I studied for first two years in Univeristy of Pecs Medical School and transferred to Semmelweis Univeristy from 3rd year. 5. Update:
I have just completed the 3rd year! We started to own our own stethscope, feeling we are becoming a doctor. Fourth year will begin in September 2016, very soon. (August 18, 2016)
6. Update: June 30, 2017:
I am now doing Summer Surgery Practice in Transplant Department. I have just finished 4th year including Pharmacology final, which is the last basic subject. I will go to the 5th year from next September. All subjects are clinical.
