We have a student research conference once a year. It is called TDK conference. (I don't know what it stands for, since it is an abreviation in Hungarian.) It is a big conference. Students are givin a chance to make a presentation about their research. It lasts for 2 to 3 days, during which all classes are cancelled, so students can focus on the conference and research.

This is also a joint-program among a couple of foreign universities and their students visit our universtiy to make presentations. For examples, a couple of universities from Russia, a Romanian universities and so on. This is called international research conference. These presentations are all done in English, while TDK conference is mainly done in Hungarian language.
