My bike stolen
I had my bike stolen at Semmelweis university today. :(
Security Camera: Luckily the bike parking has been under security camera monitoring. The security at University and I called the police and made a case. When I saw the camera monitor, the area was being surely covered by the camera. Only I did not see the record yet, because the record is stored in a server which is in a different building and also there is not a server operator today due to holiday.
Broken Lock: The bike was, of course, locked. But it was broken and left away. The cut surface is really sharp. The theft should have had a good device to cut it open.
Given that there is a security camera record, which will be a pretty good evidence, the theft could be likele to be identified and caught. Only if the police take it seriously. Some hungarian told me that they don't, since there are too many cases.
I hope my bike would be back to me soon...
