Screening Process was like this.

1. Get a recommendation from your university.
The hardest part. You must be Competitive. But once it is done, it is already yours.
2. Apply to your favorite university. you have to write a motivation letter.
3. Acceptance. Acceptance will be notified via email.

1. Get a recommendation from your university

First You have to be recommended by your Home school to your favorable university. Then you will be screened by your faborable university. It seems that practcially once you are recommeneded by your school, it is yours.

The hardest part is that it is not easy to get recommended, because there is a point system and you have to clear the border and also it is competitive among students above the border especially if you would like to go to a popular university.

This is what we really did.

1. There is Erasmus program website.
2. You will apply for Erasmus program with your own point declaration with each necessary certificate at home university.
3. There is now a list of students in descending order with their points.
4. dispatching meeting.
All students are gathered and each student say their preference of school in the order. If one university becomes full, next student can not choose the university. That is how your university is decided. In this regard, your ranking is pretty important.
2. Apply to your assigned university

Now you apply to the assigned (hopefully favorable one, but not necessary due to competitiveness) university. This is also done on the system. You will write a motivation letter with the reason why you chose the university. They ask your need of accomodation at the host university.

Also you will make a study contract; what subjects you will take at the host university.

Note that

• the number of subjects is limited.
• a big curriculum mismatch may be found.

You signed on the study contract and your erasmus office do the same too.

3. Admission Notice

You have to wait for a month or so. Then you will be noticed with the result of admission. YES! you can visit the host university! for one semester.
