ACL rupture repair by semitendinosus muscle

Harvested Semi-tendinosus muscle for hetero-tropic auto-transplant.
auto: back to self. hetero-tropic: different location.
  1. Patient anamnesis.
    1. Male 30s.
    2. ACL rupture 10 years ago.
    3. Now knee gets unstable, which is indication of operations.
  2. Operation:
    1. Harvest semi-tendinosus as long as possible.
    2. preparation of semi-tendinosus.
      1. Make four-fold to make it much stronger.
      2. put a small metal on the femoral side
      3. put a band on the tibial side.
    3. Drill the femur
    4. Drill the tibia.
    5. Insert the semi-tendinosus preparation through the tibia.
    6. Fix it inside the femur and outside the tibia respectively.

Found semitendinosus at the pes anserinus.
