Once you make either

• offline install media
• online install media

It is devided by several steps.

1. Boot from Install meida. This pre-install macOS to your target drive. once finished, it will automatically reboot. It will take time depending on your media.
   • offline, it takes 10(SSD)-30(SD) mins.
   • online, it will take 5 hours depinding on your internet connection. It takes longer time, because intall.dmg will be downloaded from the internet. It is as large as 12GB.
2. You are supposed to boot from the target drive, pre-installed partition. Choose "macOS installer." It says it will take 29 minutes. But it acutally took 1(SSD)-3(SD) hours. 2 hours after it says it takes less than a minute.
3. One more time. You are supposed to boot from the target drive, pre-installed partition. Choose "macOS installer." It will take another 5(SSD)-15(SD) mins.
4. One last time. but this time the name has been changed to "macOS." It will end in 1-3mins.
5. Now macOS boots up with the initial Setup.

onlinve vs offline:
if you install only one time, either way does not differ very much. But if you install more than once, offline must be choosen. Because online media downloads 12GB file every time you install. That overhaed will be omitted if you have downloaded the file once and made a offline install media.

Note: Be patient:
the remainig bar is not that much accurate. But I can say it is quite robust and the install is going on. My advice is to wait until it is finished.

• It says it takes 2hours and 19 minuntes at the beginning.
• Then 15 hours. (I thought it would be a bad sign for a good install.)
• I went to bed and just wait until it is finished.
• It failed at reboot.
• Now OpenCore boot has "mac install" option.
• Then display shows it takes 29 minutes to complete install.
• It acutally takes 30 minutes or so.
• Then two additional re-boots were automatcally done. (You have to boot up OC everytime.)
• Then Install was completed successfully.
• Now initial Setup which runs rather stably.
