iMacros on Firefox 58.0 or newer

Firefox update at 58.0 renewed its addon systems. The development team emphasize how better it has become. But this changes disable iMacros and many other addons, so called legacy addons, which do not work anymore.

if you have similar similar problems, you have to downgrade Firefox.

  1. Download old version install.exe. you can easily find it. google "firefox downgrade."
  2. Version should be 55.03. I tried 57, 56, which did not work.
  3. put "about:preference#advanced" in the address bar on Firefox.
  4. Disable automatic upgrade.
probably 3 and 4 should be done first, because firefox may be upgraded when you run freshly installed firefox first time.
